  22. Hi,
  23.         I'm doing a small project that involved connecting a set of
  24.         DOS machines to a linux machine as terminals.  I'm about to
  25.         buy the DOS Kermit book, but it occurred to me to ask first
  26.         if a new version of the book (or DOS Kermit, for that metter)
  27.         was planned in light of the new 8.0 version now in beta.

  29.         Should I buy the DOS book now, or is a new one going to come
  30.         out shortly ?

  32.         Another issue is, that the software on the linux machine uses
  33.         the F-keys as various hotkeys, so I have to figure out how to
  34.         pass them through, I presume by using the correct terminal
  35.         type.  Is this addressed in the book, or should I post a more
  36.         detailed question here ?
